Email client setup

IMAP and SMTP settings for A&A Systems email. Select the encryption mode matching the port.

Outgoing mail — SMTP

STARTTLS and direct SSL/TLS are different connection modes. IMAP: 143 + STARTTLS or 993 + SSL/TLS. SMTP: 587 + STARTTLS or 465 + SSL/TLS.

If the connection fails

  1. Use your full email address as the username.
  2. Enable SMTP authentication for the outgoing server.
  3. Use the same username and mailbox password for outgoing mail.
  4. Update any old or incorrectly saved password in your client.
  5. Check the server name, port and matching encryption mode.
  6. Do not bypass certificate errors. Ask for assistance.
